The National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) manages more than 300 codes and works with more than 250 technical committees in its codes and standards development process. Below is a list of NFPA committee happenings for the week of Jan. 13-17.
Making progress on electrical code
The committee working on the 2026 edition of NFPA 70, National Electrical Code, posted several updates that can be found under the “next edition” tab in the “second draft committee information section.”
- Second draft meeting minutes from the October 2024 meeting.
- Second draft ballot final results for code-making panels one through 18.
- Second draft supplemental ballot final results for code-making panels four and 17.
