NFPA weekly update: Oct. 14-18, 2024

The National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) manages more than 300 codes and works with more than 250 technical committees in its codes and standards development process. Below is a list of NFPA committee happenings for the week of Oct. 14-18.

Open for public comment

First draft reports for seven NFPA documents are open for public commenting. The reports can be found under the “Next Edition” tab for each respective code, standard, guide and recommended practice. Click the red “Submit Public Comment Online” button to send feedback. Comments are due Jan. 3, 2025, for each document.
