District court strikes down part of NLRB notice rule

The U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia in early March struck down portions of a National Labor Relations Board rule re­quiring all employers subject to the National Labor Relations Act, including most hospitals, to post a notice informing employees of their rights under the Act. A separate lawsuit by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and Coalition for a Democratic Workplace challenging the notice posting rule is pending in a South Carolina federal court.
