FGI Guidelines documents complete public review period

The 2014 Health Guidelines Revision Committee (HGRC) recently concluded its review of public comments on the draft 2014 edition of the Facility Guidelines Institute's two guidelines documents, according to a report in the American Society for Healthcare Engineering's ASHE Insider e-newsletter. "Committee members determined final content for the Guidelines for Design and Construction of Hospitals and Outpatient Facilities and the new Guidelines for Design and Construction of Residential Health Care and Support Facilities," ASHE states. "Their decisions will now be incorporated into final manuscripts, which will be reviewed and voted on by the entire HGRC in early fall." Publication is planned for early 2014.
