More than 160 code officials, fire officers, architects, plan reviewers, organizations and businesses thus far have shown their support for the Coalition for Current Safety Codes, which was rolled out on June 5 by the International Code Council and the National Fire Protection Association. The coalition is advancing public safety in the built environment by advocating that states and municipal jurisdictions adopt current building, fire prevention, sustainable, electrical and life safety codes. The American Society for Healthcare Engineering is a member.
